Claritin

Claritin has an incredibly strong and recognizable brand. It might be safe to say that the blue sky/rolling hills combination might be more closely associated with them than with Windows XP at this point. This spot was a great opportunity to try two different creative approaches to marketing.
The first is the "game" element. The concept of this ad follows one that that Claritin was running online as a web banner at the same time. They provided us with the SWF flash file and I went ahead and re-designed and re-animated the spot to fit Adspace's large HD video screens.
The second feature is the directional tag at the end (the one that mentions Walgreens). This ad ran in many different locations and the client wanted the stores mentioned in the ad to actually be in the area. After finding the closest available retailers, a database was built with all the names and locations. A version of this creative without the directional tag was used and the digital signage players added the appropriate tags themselves. So instead of having to make dozens of different video files, we only had to make one and let the computers handle the rest.
